A child’s mental health is just as important as their physical health and deserves the same quality of support.
To celebrate National Story Telling Week the toddler’s focused on the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears while our Babies heard the story of Penguin and Peace at Last.
Junk Art provides the children opportunities to explore their creative side.
In line with our topic of Healthy Eating we have chosen ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ as our story for this month 🐛 🦋 Activities have been planned, and our overall learning potential is for the children to become familiar with / be able to retell the story of the hungry caterpillar through their play ✨ Note: Learning potentials do vary for each age group to meet the needs of the individual children and activities are age and stage appropriate. 🌟 Plans are available for parents to view within the rooms! 😊
The Children and Staff took part in Christmas Jumper Day 2019 and raised money for Save the Children.
The Pre-school children enjoyed a visit from Anna’s Daddy Michael. Michael works in construction and spoke to the children about safety on the work site and how houses and buildings are built and designed. Thank you Michael!
The Children took part in world nursery rhyme week and what fun we had getting creative with our messy tray to coincide with our rhyme of the day!
Sarah came to visit us from the USPCA and explained to the children all about her role in protecting animals in the wild. We also got to see some stuffed animals. The children loved this visit and told Sarah all about their pets at home!
